Step 1: Clean the surface thoroughly and remove dust, grease, oil, paint, loose particles, and contaminants. Ensure the substrate is sound and dry.

Step 2: Pre-saturate cementitious substrates with clean water and allow them to become surface dry before application.

Step 3: Dilute UPGRADE SBR with water according to the recommended mixing ratio for the intended application.

Step 4: Add the diluted UPGRADE SBR mixture to cement, mortar, concrete, or grout and mix thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved.

Step 5: For waterproofing and bonding applications, add cement into the polymer mixture and mix until a smooth slurry is formed.

Step 6: Apply the prepared mixture using a brush, trowel, or appropriate application tool depending on the application.

Step 7: For waterproofing, apply two coats with an interval of approximately 4–6 hours between coats.

Step 8: Allow the material to cure properly before applying subsequent layers, screeds, or finishing systems.
