Step 1: Clean the substrate thoroughly. Ensure the surface is dry, free from dust, grease, oil, loose particles, paint, and contaminants.

Step 2: Pre-saturate cementitious surfaces with clean water and allow them to become surface dry.

Step 3: Dilute UPGRADE SMART LATEX with water according to the intended application and recommended mixing ratio.

Step 4: Add the diluted mixture to cement, mortar, concrete, or grout and mix thoroughly until a consistent blend is achieved.

Step 5: For waterproofing or bonding coats, add cement into the polymer mixture and mix until uniform.

Step 6: Apply the prepared mixture using a brush, trowel, or suitable application tool depending on the application.

Step 7: For waterproofing applications, apply a minimum of two coats and continuously stir the mixture during application.

Step 8: Allow the coating to dry for 2–6 hours before further treatment or finishing.
