Recommended Consumption

• Light Duty Floors: 3.5 – 4.5 kg/m²
• Medium Duty Floors: 4.5 – 5.0 kg/m²
• Heavy Duty Floors: 5.5 – 6.0 kg/m²

Step 1: Prepare and place good-quality concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 20 N/mm² and a slump of 75–110 mm.

Step 2: Level the freshly poured concrete using a vibrating beam and perform initial smoothing using a mechanical trowel.

Step 3: Wait until the concrete reaches the correct plasticity. The surface should show a thumb indentation of approximately 3–5 mm when pressed.

Step 4: Evenly broadcast UPGRADE TUFLOR by hand or using suitable spreading equipment across the concrete surface at the specified consumption rate.

Step 5: Allow the material to absorb moisture from the concrete until it becomes uniformly damp.

Step 6: Compact the dry shake hardener using a low-speed mechanical trowel held flat against the surface.

Step 7: Once the concrete begins to set, carry out preliminary smoothing using metal finishing blades. Perform final smoothing with the machine running at higher speed to achieve a dense and smooth finish.

Step 8: After approximately 24 hours, cut construction and expansion joints as required. Once hardened, fill joints with a suitable sealant according to floor design requirements.
